1pm, 2pm, 3pm
Join historian A.J. Schenkman at the museum for book signings and walking tours on the hour. As featured in our Hurley In The Revolution exhibit, Schenkman’s book Patriots and Spies details events in and around Hurley. Walking tours will delve deeper into the stories of convicted spy Daniel Taylor, Loyalist plots and working-class families involved in the Marbletown Disaffection, and gentry-class prisoners Roelof Elting and Cadwallader Colden Jr under house arrest in Hurley Village. Schenkman and tour cohost historian Erin von Holdt will discuss the complicated choices facing everyday locals often left out of the Revolution narrative. Each tour will be followed by a book signing in the museum library.
We ask that you pre-register to ensure a spot during your preferred time slot. A $5 per person donation is requested at the door.
