The Hurley Heritage Society Museum at 52 Main Street opens for the Season on Saturday May 4th and Sunday May 5th. We invite you to stop in from 1 to 4 PM to see our returning exhibits, Hurley Post Offices 1837 to present, and Exploring the Myths and Reality of Eagle’s Nest.  In addition, the Dutch room has been updated with newly donated items from the family of Ron and Shirley Rifenburg. We have stocked the shelves of our refurbished gift shop with new items, including Yankee Candles, Harney and Sons Teas and Sweet Sprig Lotion just in time for Mother’s Day shopping.

Light refreshments will be served.

Visitors in May will also have the opportunity to preview the beautifully painted Hurley Roosters which are going to be available at the June 7th auction at Cross Point Church.

The museum is open  free to the public on Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 PM,  May through October. On the 4th Sunday of the month, we offer walking tours of Main Street. We need volunteers to greet visitors and to staff the gift shop during open hours. If interested, we invite you to stop in and discuss with volunteers who will be on hand opening weekend.

We hope to see you there!
