Calling all members and friends! Help make the Hurley Heritage Museum’s building and grounds a centerpiece of Main Street Hurley. The museum and grounds need a good clean-up and some repairs. On Saturday, May 1, the Hurley Heritage Society will host Dutch Clean Sweep Day. Please mark the date on your calendars to come and help. The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts. We know our members have a variety of skills and a lot of energy. We need a bit of your time. Masks and sanitizer will be available, and we will follow Covid-19 protocols.

The jobs will include, but are not limited to, gardening, raking, scraping, painting and minor repairs. There may be inside chores if we have enough people. The Hurley Heritage Society will supply needed materials such as paint, but feel free to bring your own tools. Please contact Pat Findholt at (845) 338-3137 to sign up. She will have a list of work that needs to be done.

Don’t forget the date. Stop by the museum anytime that day if you can spare a little time. This is your chance to get to know your fellow members and take back our building and grounds after the winter and Covid-19.
